Finish What You Start

When I was a child, my chief goal was to have a good time, do enough gymnastics to be a good cheerleader, and talk on the phone as much as possible. When I got to college, I had a rude awakening. One day, I just knew that unless I became focused and made some intentional goals, there was no telling what my life was going to turn out like. From that time on, I started to set goals.

In doing so, I learned two things. First of all, your mind and heart will not focus until they have clear objectives. Secondly, it’s easy to start things, but it’s not as easy to finish them. If you practice finishing what you start, it will take you a long way.
