America Needs You to Act!

America Needs You to Act!

Early in August, I spoke a very important message at Living Word. America has tentatively agreed to a deal with Iran that will prove deadly if Congress allows this to go through. Please watch my message to find out exactly why Iran is a dangerous foe and must not be trusted.

You and I must step up today and let Congress know how vital it is that this deal with Iran doesn’t go through. You can let your congressional representatives know today that they should vote against this deal with Iran by calling or emailing your representatives now or visiting lwcc.org for further details.

A World at War

A World at War

Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Revelation 12:10–12)

Some believers get jumpy at the mention of spiritual warfare. They say they’re just not comfortable with that kind of aggressive, authoritative prayer. But, comfortable or not, we must all engage in it because we are living in a world at war.

We wake up every morning on a spiritual battlefield where there is no such thing as neutrality. Even though Jesus defeated Satan 2000 years ago on a cross at Calvary, hell is still operating an outlaw army and waging guerilla warfare on the earth. Until Jesus returns to put those forces out of commission once and for all, we as believers must be His occupational army. We must spiritually police this planet by enforcing Satan’s defeat.Continue reading

Putting the Enemy to Flight

Putting the Enemy to Flight

Then the Lord saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; and His own righteousness, it sustained Him…When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. Satan continually tries to sell us on the idea that we don’t have the time to pray. We have other more important things to do.

The Bible, however, says something very different. It says that we as believers, both individually and corporately, are called first of all—first of all!—to pray. That means as soon as our feet hit the floor in the morning, first of all, we pray. It means that prayer should be our number-one priority.

According to the Bible, if we put prayer first, we can live quiet lives in peace, honesty, and reverence—even in the midst of turbulent times. But if we don’t put prayer first, the consequences will be very serious.Continue reading

Answering the Call

Answering the Call

We know in the last days there will come perilous times of great stress and trouble, but that isn’t something we should stress over or be concerned about. We can be encouraged because in the middle of difficulty, God has provided all we will need to be fully equipped for every good work.

Over the next few days I want to share with you excerpts from my book, Devotions for the Praying Heart: Prayer Notes, that will encourage you along these lines. I hope you are encouraged by them. I’m praying for you as you stand with our Lord on the battlefront; may you be brave, courageous, and positioned victoriously in Him.Continue reading
