Divine Love Says…

Divine Love Says…

“Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly.

“Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.

“Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].

“Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end].”

~1 Corinthians 13:4-8, Amplified

  1. Yes the Word of God is powerful, and changing me day by day. I love the love chapter–lots of changes in me as I read and believe. Thanks for the reminder.

  2. So glad this love also helps us stretch ourselves for every increase of persecution. Regardless of our mind saying no, if our spirit reaches to God to do the right thing, a strength within enlarges us again. Amazing!

  3. Thank you Lynn! This and Mark 11:22-25 and Psalm 91 are some my favorites! God is LOVE so this is most important to us as Believers.
    Bless you,
    Ree

  4. I’m reminded every day of the love walk, to love like my Father loves me, unconditional. I am stretched more each day, and become more humble.

  5. I finally understand the reason I have people in my family that seem to have hard hearts. It is so I can practice love on them !! Jesus said there is a reward for loving the unlovely. And no reward for loving the lovely. Thank You Abba Father for giving me opportunities to love like You love me when I have been unlovely. Thank You for Sister Lynne & Sister Billye. I’m watching again the Prayer School DVDs they held back in 2007 at Prayer Mtn.

  6. I really enjoyed Lucy’s teaching on prayer and would like some of yours too.
    Bless you,
    Ree

  7. I also appreciate your teaching on “Finish What You Start”.
    Thank you,
    Ree
